Render angles every jewellery listing needs
A buyer cannot hold the piece, so the pictures have to answer their questions. Four angles cover most of what they want to know.
1. Front view
The hero image. It shows the main design as the wearer would see it, and it is usually the first picture on the listing.
2. Three-quarter view
A slight angle that shows depth. It helps the buyer understand the height of the setting and the shape of the band.
3. Profile (side) view
Shows how high the stone sits, the gallery details and the shape of the shank. For rings, this is often what makes the design feel real.
4. Close-up detail
Shows the details such as a hidden halo, the prongs and the finish. It builds trust, since the buyer can see the quality.
Other useful views
- A view from the back, for earrings and pendants
- A 360° view, see 360° views
- An on-body image to show scale
Our ring sample renders use these four views in three metals. See them here and our rates.
Frequently asked questions
How many images should a listing have?
Enough to answer the buyer's questions. Four to six good angles is a solid start.
Should every colour have every angle?
Ideally yes, so buyers can compare them in the same view.
