360° jewellery views: how they work and why they help

By Ronak Rawal · 1 October 2026 · 2 min read

A 360° view shows a piece turning through a full circle, so the buyer can look at every side. It is the next best thing to holding the jewellery.

How it works

The software renders the piece from many angles around a full turn. These frames are put together as a turntable video, or as an interactive viewer where the buyer drags to rotate.

Why it helps

  • Buyers see the back and the sides, which a still image cannot show.
  • It builds trust, because nothing is hidden.
  • It reduces questions and returns, since the piece looks as expected.
  • It stands out in a catalogue or at a sales meeting.

Two types

  • Turntable video: a short loop that plays by itself.
  • Interactive 360°: the viewer controls the rotation.

What you need

A complete CAD model, since every side will be seen. Fine details must be built in, as a render shows everything. See the checklist.

We offer an interactive 360° view for all three gold colours. See our pricing and read about animation videos.

Frequently asked questions

Is a 360° view the same as a video?

A turntable video is one form. An interactive 360° lets the viewer rotate the piece themselves.

Does a 360° view need a special website?

Interactive views need a viewer on your site. A turntable video can be used anywhere, including social media.
