Jewellery animation videos for social media

By Ronak Rawal · 1 October 2026 · 2 min read

Short videos get attention on social media, and a jewellery animation can show things a still image cannot: how a piece is built, how it moves and how it catches the light.

What an animation can show

  • The piece turning, with light moving across the stones
  • A build-up, where parts appear one at a time
  • A close-up flying across the details
  • Variations, such as the same design in three metals

Formats and length

Short is better. Videos of a few seconds to half a minute suit most feeds. Vertical (9:16) works for reels and stories, and square or horizontal formats suit other places. Tell the designer where the video will be posted.

Planning one

  1. Start from a finished CAD model.
  2. Decide the message: new design, detail or comparison.
  3. Choose the format and length.
  4. Review a draft and approve it.

Where it fits

Use animations for launches, exhibitions and social media. For product pages, use 360° views. Our image-plus-video packages are in our pricing.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a jewellery video be?

Short clips work best on social media. A few seconds to half a minute is common.

Do I need a finished model for a video?

Yes, since the animation is made from the CAD model. Fine details must be built in first.
